WINDMILL

Today has been the most awesome weekend ever. NOT! That’s why I’m writing this blog. When I rummage around my old food pictures, here’s what I found. Dining at WINDMILL was an awesome experience. This is due to several reasons. 1. The food was tasty, 2. The atmosphere was so pleasant, 3. The service was quick and most importantly 4. I didn’t have to pay for it hehe. Thanks Masam!
We went to this place twice. The first time was incredible so we went there again a few weeks later. So here are the foods that we tried.

I ordered seafood platter while my husband ordered beef ribs. As usual, my dish always turns out looking and taste better than his. That’s why he likes to steal food from my plate (I always steal his food too). This seafood platter was so scrumptious that I didn’t allow him to even have a bit hehe. In this platter there were a few fried calamari, fried scallops, fried king prawn, fish fillet and some crab meat. What I like the most about this dish is the calamari and the prawn. It was so fresh and flavorful even though this restaurant is situated in the middle of a big city. The price is only RM29.90, which is darn cheap!

This beef ribs was full of flavors too but the only complain that my husband made was that the portion. It was a little too small and not suitable with the price. The price is RM30++.

For our second visit, this is what we tried. Mixed grill and sizzling lamb chop. We were satisfied with our dishes coz this time the food tasted even better. For mixed grill, we had beef bacon, chicken chop, beef steak, lamb steak, a few sausages and egg. This appetizing dish only cost RM39.90 and it is value for money. Every single bit was worth every penny.

As for this one, the taste wasn’t as bad as it looks. The sauce and the steak were actually very yummy even though the presentation doesn’t look nice. We were thinking that they forgot to do the garnishing coz it looked so plain and dull. However, the overall taste was satisfying. The price of this one is RM30++.

For dessert, we had an apple pie with ice-cream. We thought there was nothing really special about it (maybe because we were both full). Actually dessert isn’t my cup of tea so I couldn’t be bothered about this one, I totally forgot its price.
