Flaming Steamboat Restaurant in Sunway

This is our favourite steamboat buffet restaurant over the past 2 years. Starting from a recommendation by a friend, we went there so many times (most probably over 30 times. There was a period of time where we ate here every week..gosh we're greedy!)  I've lost count already. Just for RM20 per person you can eat until you burst at the seams. Just my kind of place!

For the duration of your meal, your sole attention will be focused on this pot..it is your source of enjoyment and you will be watching this with a gleam in your eyes as you see the delicious pieces of food floating and swirling in all their glory. Comes with a choice of chicken soup or tomyam soup. One way we knew we were meant for each other is that one of us loves the chicken soup and the other the tomyam. We didn't have to fight over which side of the pot we wanted hehe.

The infamous chocolate fountain..I've never really been a fan of it but it's very popular with kids. It's a hell of  a mess by closing time though..

Lots and lots of green veges..just to keep our guilty conscience at bay for eating so much..

Assorted types of food waiting to be enjoyed.. As you can see below, you will be spoiled for choice when you eat here. There's everything for everyone here..a pity we don't have the fresh seafood pictures..we'll update more pictures later when we find them.

A fine-cooked bowl of assorted seafood in tomyam soup..we can guess who this belongs to..note that this will all be gone within 20 seconds :P

They also offer some ready-cooked meals such as Rendang Ayam, Chicken Nuggets and small spring rolls.

A nice plate of fruits as desserts..it really helps with the bloated feeling you get after spending 1 hour eating here ^^

And a nice bowl of ice-cream to top it all off...you get a lot of flavors and you can and nuts or chocolate syrup from the fountain according to you preference. I know the arrangement of the ice-cream looks a wee bit suspicious here but perish the thought..it was entirely unintentional.

Valentine at Baskin Robin

Someone bought this cake for me last Valentine. I didn't quiet like it at first but later when I receive it, it looks fabulous. my lil sis and bros ate almost half of it. For me, I think it is too expensive coz it is tiny and the price is rm45 (for god sake). Oh it is Valentine's day, it makes sense.

I will only give it 3 out of 5 stars. and most of the stars goes for its appearance and its cuteness. I dont have much to say about it actually, but the flavour for the ice cream is cookies and cream and the cake is vanilla.

Honestly, this is the first ice cream cake I have ever eaten. I've never had one before and I think there was nothing really special about it except that there is an ice cream on top of the icing.~
